DS1075K Rev 1.0.2 Known Bugs - 2/07/97 1. Erroneous data when reading device Bad data can sometimes be read from a device particularly after the board has been powered down (e.g. to change devices) or after a write operation. This can be cured by disabling the FIFOs on the appropriate COM port. (from the Control Panel select System/ Device Manager. Double click on the appropriate COM port, then select "Port Settings". Click on "Advanced". Uncheck the "Use FIFO buffers" checkbox) Bug Fixed on Rev 1.0.2 2. Support for DS1075-60 The present revision does not support the -60 speed device directly. If you read from the device a master frequency of 66MHz will be displayed and cannot be altered. However the values of the M and N registers and other device flags can be altered by the software and written to the device. Just remember that the displayed frequencies will be incorrect. This bug is corrected on Rev. 1.0.1 3. COM port error after power cycling the demo board. Click on "Read Device" again will usually read successfully. Bug fixed on Rev 1.0.2 Future Updates Improve the operation of the COM port requester and save the settings on exit. Please check our web site for software updates: http://www.dalsemi.com
